is there ever enough coffee in the world?
I know it’s been quite a while, friends, but rest assured… I’ve kept plenty busy and want to keep you in the loop. In no particular order, over the past few months, I have:
- (hopefully gracefully!) departed Google for an unmissable opportunity at Sephora where I’ll be redesigning their #community feature. It was an extremely hard decision to make but I know I’m on the right path. More thoughts to come on this via my @medium space where I’m planning on keeping my wonky tech-speak
- assisted a few fine gentlemen with their product management podcast by doing a website redesign + branding exercise… I’ll also be a featured guest on an upcoming episode, so stay tuned to said @medium channel for more of that
- realized that I am still extremely interested in podcasting so I’ve started putting together a few ideas for a podcast of my own, focusing on women thriving + surviving in the business world, both corporate and entrepreneur-style. if you’re interested in helping out or guesting, drop me a line.
- put together an ill-fated social shopping experiment on teespring.com (so far, at $0 sales) which I’ll be talking about (with learnings) at a later date
oh, and one more thing… I’m officially making a better women’s messenger bag! (more after the jump)
I received the first prototype from the lovely ladies at my factory in Portland, and can’t stop making the heart-eyes emoji. It’s a long story (and a long road to come, I’m sure!) but the plan is to launch a Kickstarter campaign for the first run in 2017. If you’re interested in learning more, please head over to www.kennebecker.com and like/follow us on Facebook and Instagram! I’m so excited to share this process with you over on those platforms and a bit here as well!
