hello, and join me! – the loup

hello, and join me!

a preview of what’s to come…

Hello and welcome! I’ve been blogging off and on for about ten years (previously seen here) as a true child of the internet. I’m in my late-ish twenties now, just moved to the San Francisco Bay Area, and I’ve downsized from 2,100 square feet in Seattle to 600 in California! As I’m sure you’ve probably heard, housing prices up here are insane! That being said, my husband and I have been drawn to the “tiny” living movement and I’ve always had a minimalistic approach to things, and now I’d like to document the process here for all to see. Why “Wit’s End?” Well, it’s a play on my last name and the concept of this blog… I’ve heard that truly going minimal can be quite maddening, so we’ll see if I survive! I’ve been inspired by Caroline at Unfancy to create a capsule wardrobe, and I’d also like to invite you…

Join me in creating a capsule wardrobe for this spring & summer! Follow along here, comment, and use #capsuling on instagram so we can go through the process together!

I’ve been a self-proclaimed “fashionista” for years, and in the past, I’ve been called on to help a few friends downsize and select key pieces. I’d like to offer these ‘services’ virtually. Follow along with me, comment, and let’s do it! I’ll be blogging tomorrow about step 1, so I’ll see you soon!

  2. Witsend: Hi !
I totally support your efforts to downsize and like it.
    Less is More
    Simple Elegance
Freeing lifestyle and Space… All are synonyms for downsizing. I have spent many years doing these things and it is ongoing and ever necessary but worth the steps and effort. The more things you have, the more you have to worry about. There is great freedom is nothingness or at least, lessingness. (-: Have fun.
